📍 What You’ll Be Backing Up:

• Singleplayer map (if applicable) or server world downloads
• Xaero’s Minimap waypoints
• Xaero’s World Map cache (optional but useful)

🧭 Xaero's Waypoints Backup (Minimap & World Map)

✅ Steps:

1. Press Win + R, type:

   shell
   CopyEdit
   %appdata%\\.minecraft\\XaeroWaypoints
   
   

2. Copy the entire XaeroWaypoints folder to a safe backup location.

3. (Optional) Do the same for:

   CopyEdit
   .minecraft/XaeroWorldMap
   
   

📦 These folders contain all your saved waypoints and explored terrain for each server and dimension.

🔄 How to Transfer Waypoints to a New Server

When the server IP or domain changes (like moving from one host to another), Xaero’s Minimap treats it like a new server. Here’s how to transfer your waypoints:

1. Join the new server at least once, and create a dummy waypoint. This will generate the new waypoint files.
